Ben Benton

Regional Sales Manager

Ben Benton is Nano-Yield's Regional Sales Manager for Texas and New Mexico! He loves being in the country and building relationships with growers, consultants and industry professionals that work with farmers and ranchers. He enjoy bringing something to a grower that can improve the operation and the bottom line of the farm. One of the highest compliments is to be considered a "trusted advisor" to the farm or ranch. Ben grew up on a family farm in Dimmitt, TX. Since college he has been involved in agriculture for 25 years. Beginning in R&D at a seed company, then as a sales agronomist for most of the time with seed companies (including Triumph, Mycogen, Phytogen, Pioneer, Brevant). He has worked extensively with corn, cotton, sunflowers, soybean, sorghum, alfalfa and silage crops. Finally he spent 2 years educating Corteva employees, representatives and customers on the Enlist Weed Control System as well as new technology such as the Vorceed and PowerCore traits in corn. Ben has a BS degree in Agronomy from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. His wife Stacey has her degree from there as well, and they are both avid Texas Aggie fans! When Ben isn't working he mostly spends his free time with his wife Stacey and their 3 grown kids which are scattered across Texas. He also enjoys landscaping and most any activity outdoors including hiking, fishing, and hunting...although there aren't too many of those activities available in Lubbock, TX! A fun fact about Ben is his wife works at their church with the College Ministry, and they both enjoy being with these students several times each week. Seeing students mature as they enter as high school graduates and leave a few years later as college graduates is especially rewarding.
