Mike brings a unique and valuable perspective to the Nano-Yield team, combining hands-on operations support with a strong background in culinary arts and a growing interest in IT and cybersecurity. While his professional experience isn’t rooted in traditional agriculture, he understands ag products from the end-use side—having worked extensively in professional kitchens as a chef. What drew Mike to Nano-Yield was the company culture. He values the welcoming, supportive environment and enjoys being part of a team that takes pride in innovation and collaboration across agriculture. Outside of work, Mike is a self-described nerd in the best way possible. He’s a big fan of tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons and Cyberpunk, as well as trading card games such as Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon. He also enjoys building PCs, tinkering with his 3D printer, reading, watching anime, and gaming with his wife. A passionate cook and barbecue enthusiast, Mike often prepares meals for his D&D groups. When he’s not cooking or gaming, you’ll likely find him visiting farmers markets with his wife and their terrier mix, Chewbacca. Fun fact: Mike and his wife actually met during a D&D game.
