Nano-Yield Marketing • March 18, 2024

Nano-Yield™ is proud to have incredible women from all walks of life work at the company. In honor of Women’s History Month we want to showcase all of the women that do amazing work for us. This week we are highlighting the ladies in marketing in their own words, enjoy. 😄

Jenny Phill
ips: Director of Marketing

Married to Evan, Annah is 7 and in First Grade. We like to play outdoors, hunt for artifacts on our property, archery, and are very involved with the flint knapping community (we have a brand on the side- Not So Civilized). Evan is a police officer full time. I grew up in the big city (Cleveland, OH), but fell in love with the ag community when I landed a job in agriculture in 2008. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2005 with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology at the age of 20. I love the humbleness, laid back, hardworking nature of farmers. I find it interesting how hard it can be to grow crops on top of the amount of pressure/control and regulations consumers/government put on farmers, and how disconnected we can be. Growing up in the bigger city I had no idea where anything came from, or the amount of work farmers put in to produce my food. We take it for granted.

The women I look to? The women in agriculture... I have so much to learn about this industry. And my mother-in-law Sherri Rogers. She's been the one constant, solid rock and unconditional loving figure I've needed in my life, and I 100% trust her with helping raise my daughter.

Misty Kempton: Social Media & Events Manager

I love to watch movies, visit new restaurants, the Grand Tetons, travel to new places, hike and go to the lake. I LOVE water! If it’s a water activity, I’m there. My husband, Chase, and I love to get outside in the summertime with our two kids Everleigh, who is 5, and Arthur, who is almost 2. I have a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a double emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising. Fun fact is I was adopted and grew up next to a dairy farm in Wyoming. I adored watching all the little Guernsey calves in the springtime and helping bottle feed them.  I love being in Ag because it's so much more complex than just making sure crops are watered.  The science behind it is truly amazing. I love being a part of the innovations and helping farmers discover how to increase their yield.

I look to my mom who was a single, working mom and raised me to be who I am today. I also look up to all the women I work with at Nano-Yield and in agriculture.

Brooke Rosqvist: Marketing Manager

I’m married to my husband Jake and we have a little daughter named Ruby who just turned 2! Jake and I love to watch movies, lift weights, play D&D, and hang out with our friends, pets, and Ruby. My favorite thing to do with Ruby is go to the park, go shopping together, and go on soda runs. I played accelerated softball since I was 8 and I love to play coed slow pitch with my Dad and old teammates. I have a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and love being in a creative career. I love being in Ag because I grew up going to my grandparents houses and they had acres of farmland. I feel at home being in this industry and I love knowing our products are changing this industry for the better and being a part of that is amazing.

Women I look up to are my mother, mother-in-law, aunts, and my girlfriends that show so much strength and resilience through trials they have had in their lives. They teach me to become a stronger, more confident person and I appreciate them more than they will ever know. They help me be a better mom and teach my daughter she can be a confident, strong woman one day too.
