NanoCote Core is a simple product to use to amplify your harvest quality and yield. However, there are some specific instructions and procedures you should know as a user, or potential user, of Core. This article will cover the general use and treatment of Core, its storage and handling procedures, and the general safety precautions that should be taken.

General Use and Treatment

When adding NanoCote Core to your fertilizer, be sure to mix it in at a rate of 90 - 120 fl. oz per 1 ton of prilled or granular fertilizer. Keep in mind, your specific application rate will be dependent on your fertilizer’s particle size, particle shape, and loading potential. When ready to mix, directly spray or apply Core onto your dry fertilizer and make sure to blend thoroughly. Core has a short curing time so there is no wait before putting the fertilizer to your fields.

Storage and Handling

Be sure to store Core in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated environment and be sure to keep the container tightly closed. To maximize its storage life do not store it in an area with a temperature above 25°C (77°F) and protect it from freezing.

Once the container is emptied it may retain some Core residue. Follow label warning seven in the SDS after the container is emptied. Disposal must be made according to official regulations, and it should never be reused.

Smaller quantities of Core can be disposed of with household waste, though it should be diluted with plenty of water. Dispose of larger amounts of Core in accordance with your local authority requirements. As the user of this material, you have a responsibility to dispose of any unused material, residues, and containers in compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations. This includes matters of treatment, storage, and disposal of hazardous and nonhazardous wastes.

Safety

When using Core, be sure to use standard PPE. This is due to the possibility of eye and skin irritation if Core comes in contact with your body. When applying Core, wear a Long-sleeved shirt, long pants, rubber gloves, eye protection, a respirator or mask, a hat, and an apron or coverall. As a final precaution, apply Core in a well-ventilated area.

If first aid is ever needed, remember to never give anything by mouth if a person falls unconscious. If you or someone else feels unwell, seek medical attention and advice. Ensure that medical personnel are aware of all the materials involved (including Core) and take precautions to protect themselves.

If large amounts of Core are inhaled, quickly get yourself to fresh air. Keep yourself in a resting position comfortable for breathing and take deep breaths. If symptoms develop or persist, call your doctor, and seek medical attention.

Following skin contact with Core, remove all your contaminated clothing, and drench the affected area with water for at least 15 minutes. Be sure to wash your contaminated clothing before wearing it again. If skin irritation occurs and persists, seek medical advice and/or attention.

If your eyes have come into contact with Core, immediately flush your eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Be sure to remove your contact lenses, if present and easy to do so. Seek medical attention if any irritation develops or persists.

If you have ingested Core, do not try to induce vomiting. Instead, rinse out your mouth and drink plenty of water. If any irritation develops and persists, seek medical attention from the Poison Center.
