Looking ahead through the well-earned harvest season, some obstacles remain on our radar, and across the industry. Recently, Hurricane Ida managed to strike LA, leading to some damage and disruption at a glyphosate production plant. Some recent changes to the regulatory landscape of some popular nonselective herbicide (e.g. glyphosate) and insecticides (imidacloprid, chlopyrifos) may be coming soon. Access to retail glyphosate products also appears to have shrunk. In parallel, the biopesticide market continues to grow in market cap and product diversity. Combine events like this with recent delays at ports, and the result may require US growers to be resourceful in maintenance of weed and pest pressures. So, nothing new. Keep these continued supply-chain challenges in mind as we enter pre-season (2022) discount orders.

We've seen great results in stretching your glyphosate dollar with inclusion of NanoPro, and be sure to keep your water TDS or water conditioning processes in mind to keep glyphosate activity at its best. Finally, it seems simple, but going back to the basics can also help stretch your dollar. Maximize the phytotoxicity effect of your application and find a nice hot, dry, clear day to apply. Additional adjuvants may amplify this effect further.
