Corn growers can save money AND yield big in 2022, even with high fertilizer costs, by incorporating nanoliquid technology

Cody Hatzenbuhler, owner of Pan Ag in Mandan, ND has been an Aqua-Yield® dealer for a couple years now. He first became a believer in nanoliquid technology when seeing the results of NanoPro®, a humic product for improved crop protection applications, on weed control. “NanoPro® has worked well with other chemicals, allowing for growers to go out at the low-end of the rate range while delivering the same or better weed control.”

It didn’t take long for him to also see the benefits when adding nanoliquid technology to grower’s fertility programs. Hatzenbuhler now sells the whole line up of Aqua-Yield® products. When used in-furrow with a liquid starter program, “it allows for my growers to reduce the amount of salt being applied in-furrow,” he states. Hatzenbuhler has a strong passion for soil health, which was a big reason he was also drawn to this unique technology in ag.

With over 750 trials conducted during a 7 year period using Aqua-Yield® nanoliquids a 3:1 return has been determined. As fertilizer prices continue to skyrocket and product availability remains unreliable, Aqua-Yield® continues to be very affordable and available for growers across the nation. It is also a very clean and easy product to incorporate with other liquid fertilizers.

What are your options?

You don’t have to change your program to add Aqua-Yield®. Some growers like the way the nanoliquid technology increases the efficiency of their crop inputs without disrupting their current program. Other growers will slightly reduce their main liquid input to incorporate the cost of the nanoliquid technology. Then there are the growers that need to completely rethink their program as they can’t afford high costs or find inventory of product. And that’s the beauty of Aqua-Yield® nanoliquid technology; it is an easy, affordable fit no matter how a grower wants to add it to their crop program.

Hatzenbuhler breaks down some other simple options for North Dakota corn growers looking to change up their program without sacrificing yield*:
