Answer: Yes. Both chelation and nanoliquid® technology improve plant nutrient uptake. Chelation improves plant nutrient availability, and nanoliquid® technology increases the quantity of nutrients delivered in each application.

Chelation: Nutrient products are referred to as “chelated” when organic molecules are bound to the nutrient ion (usually metals like Fe, Cu, Mn, and Zn), which protects the nutrient from immobilization and greatly improves plant availability.

Nanoliquid® technology: Nanoliquid® technology provides a unique pathway for plant nutrient uptake called endocytosis, which drastically increases the quantity of nutrients absorbed by plants at one time.

Chelation and nanoliquid® together: Chelated products are a clear choice for delivering critical micronutrients due to their superior plant availability. Chelated fertilizers such as chelated iron are readily loaded onto nanoparticles in any nanoliquid® product, which deliver more nutrients in every application. Together, chelates and nanoliquid® technology provide a powerful and effective nutrient delivery solution.

Contact your Aqua-Yield® representative for more information on improving your chelated fertilizers with nanoliquid® technology.

Chelated nutrients are only slightly larger in size than non-chelated nutrients, making them small enough to load and deliver using Nanoliquid technology.
