INTRODUCTION

Ultor insecticide (Spirotetramat) is very effective however is slow to get into the plant. Grower claims no activity for at least 10 days after application. Speeding up activity to stop psyllid destruction is key.

HYPOTHESIS

NanoPro with Ultor can increase AI uptake.

MATERIALS

PROCEDURE
  1. Two Anjou blocks were sprayed on the same day. All rates were the same with exception to the NanoPro. Check vs trial.
  2. Check (201 Larson Ranch)
  3. Trial (102 A Ranch)
  4. The NanoPro was mixed in with the Ultor and then the adjuvants were added.
  5. Application was done on a Thursday (June 30th) and tissue samples were pulled on Tuesday (July 5).
  6. 8 new shoots per block were pulled at 10:00 AM, the leaves were washed, patted dry and then shipped overnight to Pacific Ag Labs for AI testing.
