SANDY, UTAH, USA, February 15, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Nano-Yield , (formerly known as Aqua-Yield, which is now its USA and Canada brand) the leading nano liquid company for agricultural production worldwide, today announced the expansion of its business into Bangladesh. The company currently operates in eight countries and will leverage its NLT5000™ and NanoPro® for the region’s rice, tobacco and vegetable growing efforts.

Nano-Yield has partnered with National AgriCare (NAC) to expand in Bangladesh. NAC will serve as Nano-Yield’s strategic regional hub supporting multiple aspects of the company’s growth, including technical and agronomic support, customer support, professional services, and increasing sales.

“2022 didn’t disappoint in terms of challenges to our industry, both nationally and globally. A global pandemic in 2020, fertilizer price increases, a war in the Ukraine and possible global recession have left many in the industry wondering what may come next,” said Clark T. Bell, co-founder and CEO of Nano-Yield. “But despite this, we at Nano-Yield see 2023 as a great opportunity as our Nano liquid technology will become even more relevant for growers as it enables them to stretch budget dollars and maximize the yield and quality of the crops they produce.”

“The more developed a country is, its agriculture management system is more advanced. Countries like Bangladesh have faced challenges from a socioeconomic perspective during the pandemic. Still, the agriculture sector manages to meet our food production needs and feed the nation,” said Yalid Rahman, director of sales and marketing for NAC. “NAC’s mission is to help farmers through innovation and sustainable agriculture so that they can feed the world. We believe it is the right time to focus on nano-tech usages in agriculture to reach the sustainability of agricultural production and produce the best quality crops. The collaboration between Nano-Yield and NAC (the fastest growing agrochemical manufacturer in Bangladesh) will be the timely solution to advance this industry.”

“This is a very important milestone for Nano-Yield in our efforts to expand our footprint globally. Both parties have invested a lot of effort to arrive at this agreement and we are confident that NAC will be a great partner,” stated Marco Guirado, vice president of international sales for Nano-Yield. “The collaboration will provide vanguard technology that in a short period of time will have a positive impact on crop production systems and provide an attractive ROI for all end users in the Bangladesh market.”

Nano-Yield offers a technology unlike anything else in the industry. The company’s award-winning nano liquid solutions leverage sophisticated nanoparticles to make liquid agricultural products more effective at plant absorption thereby dramatically increasing crop-yield and profits for farmers while enhancing the sustainability of the soil. With a better delivery and uptake to the plant which produces more yield and improves the quality of the crop.

Sevrin Anderson talking all things Aqua-Yield.
By Brooke Rosqvist, Marketing Manager 12 Apr, 2024
In a recent interview on Agweek TV, Sevrin Anderson, a fifth-generation farmer from Drayton, North Dakota, shared his experiences and successes with Nano-Yield™, and its liquid brand Aqua-Yield® products. Partnering with ECO, a trusted distributor in the region, Anderson has integrated these innovative solutions into his farming practices for the past four years, yielding impressive results. Anderson begins by discussing the science behind nanoparticles, emphasizing their unique hollow structure. These nanoparticles serve as effective carriers for various agricultural inputs, including micronutrients, macronutrients, and pesticides. Leveraging the mechanism of endocytosis, these nanoparticles facilitate the efficient uptake and utilization of essential components by plants. When asked about his application methods, Anderson highlights the versatility of Aqua-Yield products throughout the farming season. He incorporates them into his pre-program applications in the spring, applies them foliarly during the growing season, and utilizes them post-harvest. Each product serves a specific purpose: NanoCS® enhances starter solutions for sugar beets, NanoPro® improves the efficacy of glyphosate for expedited absorption by the beets, NanoK® boosts sugar content in sugar beets, and NanoPack® enhances soybean production. Regardless of the application method or timing, these products are integral to Anderson's year-round farming regimen. When questioned about his continued use of Aqua-Yield products, Anderson underscores the tangible success and ease of integration into his production practices. Unlike previous alternatives, Nano-Yield solutions have consistently delivered superior outcomes, demonstrating their efficacy and reliability. The partnership between Anderson, ECO, and Nano-Yield exemplifies a collaborative approach to sustainable agriculture, leveraging cutting-edge technology to optimize crop yields and enhance farm profitability. Nano-Yield is highlighting the women that enhance the science field.
By Brooke Rosqvist, Marketing Manager 28 Mar, 2024
Last but not least, Nano-Yield™ is highlighting the ladies in science! We couldn’t be happier with the dedication and knowledge these two have. As a company, we rely on them both for data, regulatory, and everything in between. Please enjoy a little bit about them from their own words. Micki Palmersheim: Regulatory Specialist I have a 6 year old Pitbull mix, named Pickle. I adopted her when I lived in Minnesota when she was 12 weeks old, and she's moved with me to North Dakota, Virginia, and Utah. She likes to wear sweaters, nap, and take up all the space on the bed. I'm involved in a few competitive pool/billiard leagues. Earlier this Month, I traveled to Colorado to compete in regional tournaments for 9-ball, and later this spring I am competing with my team in a world-qualifier competition that could send us to Vegas, NV to compete with teams from all over the world. Outside of pool I enjoy hiking and camping in the Uintahs, drawing, and snowboarding. I received my bachelors degree in Biology from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota and then completed my master's degree in Entomology from Virginia Tech. For my thesis, I quantified attractiveness of ornamental landscape plants to pollinators. A fun fact about myself is I have original artwork published in scientific literature to support a research article that was written by a coworker back when I was working at the USDA-ARS in Fargo, ND. I became passionate about Ag when first I began researching Alfalfa Leafcutting Bees while in Fargo, ND. I specifically was investigating the impact that insecticide exposure had on bee's behavior and physiology. Through this experience, I gained a unique perspective of the importance of crop inputs as a necessary contribution to crop production and food security, and motivated me to be a part of a team that was committed to innovating solutions that aim to improve sustainability of agriculture chemicals. I look up to all the women that I work with at Nano-Yield. They are all incredible, and every day, I am motivated by their commitment to excellence and their ability to overcome challenges with grace and determination. What sets these women apart is not just their professional achievements, but also their collaborative spirit and supportive nature. They create an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed. Working alongside them is not only productive but also immensely enjoyable. In essence, I look up to the women at our company because they embody the qualities of hard work, resilience, and camaraderie that I strive to emulate in my own career. They are not just colleagues; they are mentors, role models, and friends.
