Our annual NanoCons are something that our customers from around the world look forward to attending each year.  Celebrating 10 years in the industry, NanoCon was hosted at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center located in Dallas, Texas on November 13-15.  This 5th annual NanoCon was considered one of the best by many, as each year our company strives to improve upon the meeting with a focus on networking, education, and team building.  Our customers appreciate the fast-paced, networking environment that the event provides, with a good mix of work and fun.

The first evening of NanoCon is always a favorite; fantastic food and lots of energy as people network and meet fellow nanofans from all over the world as they anticipate an exciting week of activities.

The next day was followed by a half day of presentations from Nano leaders with company insights and our annual dealer panel.  This is also a favorite of our customers as they get to hear from fellow business leaders on different approaches to successfully selling nanotechnology to farmers across the country.

This was followed by one of our keynote speakers, Native Digital, who spoke about “Right & Wrong: Lessons in Shareable Content”.  Justin Watkins, CEO & Founder, and Shelby Mathews, VP of Marketing of Kansas City, MO, gave their best practices on how to stand out with their content creation checklist.  Native Digital is a branding and messaging marketing company that helps innovative ag and food brands achieve widespread adoption.

The other half of the day was filled with fun at the spa, indoor skydiving, shooting range, go kart racing, and other fun activities.

The evening wrapped up with a nice dinner and our dealer awards ceremony (more information to come).  We also honored Warren Bell, cofounder, as he has retired from his sales position with Nano-Yield.  For the past several years he has been instrumental to the success of bringing nanotechnology to the Dakotas and Minnesota area.

Friday NanoCon wrapped up with some educational presentations, followed by Keynote Speaker Pam Marrone.  Pam is an agriculture biotechnology trailblazer and one of 22 women to found and lead a company listed on a public stock exchange. With over 500 patents to her name, Pam is a leader in biological pesticides and serves on multiple company boards and advisory councils.

We appreciate all of the support of our dealers and growers that have adopted nanotechnology into their programs, and we strive to be in Every Tank, Every Pass!
