Not only does Aqua-Yield ® offer nanoliquid products that enhance the efficiency of liquid fertilizers but also a product that improves crop protection product performance: NanoPro ®

NanoPro ® can be added to most spray mixtures to improve the uptake of fungicide products. Aqua-Yield ® nanoliquid technology works as a delivery system for fungicides. While most active ingredients enter the plant cell wall through diffusion, the nanoliquid particle will load the active ingredient molecules and then bulk transport them through the wall by endocystosis.

NanoPro ® is clean, easy handling and safe for the environment, at just a 4 oz/ac rate. This product is field tested and grower approved to change the way you manage crops.

24-hr potato data shows greater efficiencies in using NanoPro ® with fungicide

A trial was recently conducted by TriYield of Arcadia, Florida to understand how NanoPro ® can increase the efficiency of a broad-spectrum fungicide. Luna Tranquility ® , a product by Bayer CropScience ® , was aerial applied to a potato crop at a rate of 11 oz/ac and 5 gal of water. Another plot area was sprayed with 4 oz/ac NanoPro ® added to the fungicide. The active ingredients in Luna Tranquility ® include Fluopyram and Pyrimethranil. According to Bayer CropScience ® , “Luna Tranquility ® provides excellent leaf spot complex protection (early blight and brown leaf spot), including strains with reduced sensitivity to Group 11 and current Group 7 fungicides. It also protects against white mold and black dot.”

Lab Results

At 2 hours applications of Luna Tranquility ® alone showed “undetected” concentrations whereas Luna Tranquility ® mixed with NanoPro ® had detectable levels. NanoPro ® delivered the product more quickly to the plant, allowing more time for the systemic nature of the fungicide to mobilize throughout the potato plant. NanoPro ® also delivered higher concentrations of product to the plant, providing superior protection against plant disease.

NanoPro ® controls potato blight

In another trial on potatoes, by adding just 4 oz/ac NanoPro ® with fungicides the grower is able to knock out blight; a potentially quick spreading, devastating disease infecting the entire crop from tubers to leaves.

He has experience in production, retail, distribution, agronomy, product development, and sales. As he completes his third sales season at Nano-Yield®, Joel continues to exceed expectations and contribute to the overall growth and success of his distributors, dealers, and growers. Joel started at Nano-Yield® as a Regional Sales Manager, covering Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. While these states remain part of his territory, Joel is now stepping into the role of Director of Central Region Sales. He will serve as a manager to Regional Sales Managers who cover the Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Arkansas regions. Joel said that bringing affordable products that work to the market is what motivates him every day. He wants to help growers succeed while contributing to the growth of his distributors and dealers. Joel hopes to pass on his knowledge and view of the business to the next generation. He said that the thing he enjoys the most about working for Nano-Yield® is the family atmosphere. When asked about his new role, Joel said the following: “I relish the challenge. I’m not done growing in Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. When Joel is around, his peers know it’s going to be a fun and successful day. Mark Mitchell, Nano-Yield® Director of Sales U.S., said, “Joel earned this promotion through hard work, excellent sales numbers, and his team respects him and they trust him.” He added that Joel truly cares about his customers.
