Colgate, ND - Aqua-Yield® is always looking for dealers that are passionate about helping growers by using the latest product advancements they offer. Jim and Darcy Erickson of Erickson Custom Operations (ECO) located in Colgate, ND is one of those dealers that is rapidly growing as a result of their love for the farming community. They are driven by their desire to help growers increase yields sustainably through education and the use of crop input technologies.

ECO has been in business since 2009, and in April 2018 they were introduced to the Aqua-Yield line of products. They work closely with Tom Vander Heiden of S.T. Biologicals on trials and business development as new exciting products and technologies emerge.

Darcy states, “We’ve seen cutting-edge decisions being made from farmers of all ages. It’s fun to see their reactions to the NanoShield® technology. It’s been a lot of fun.” Aside from the excitement of using a new technology that works, Darcy continues, “Growers like the cost savings. The input cost is less but farmers are achieving higher yields and a better crop through nanotechnology. We no longer have to spread in tons; we can spread in ounces.”

It’s easy to see why the Ericksons are so successful. Darcy passionately says, “90% is building the relationships. We love our growers and always make ourselves available, in fact we personally deliver all our products.” Darcy and Jim offer delivery of products along with soil and tissue sampling so they can help growers make strategic decisions when it comes to soil health and plant nutrition. “It’s really important to qualify the customer and find out what their needs are.”
