The majority of demand for potassium in cotton is at about first bloom. Soils often have an abundance of potassium but often it is tied up and not available to the plant. Potassium plays a major role in yield, defense of pathogens, improved fiber quality, micronaire, length and strength. Once boll set begins demand for potassium increases.

NanoK® is Aqua-Yield® nanoliquid technology that is 100% available to the plant and can be applied with most other liquid fertility, crop protectants, herbicides or growth regulators (always jar test for compatibility). Rate is 4 oz per acre and is a great way to boost your potassium in cotton during high demand plant development stages.

Nutrient uptake rates reached maxium during midbloom and declined rapidly as the boll matures (Mullins and Burmester. 1990).
